Luke {Houston Newborn Photographer}
Watching families grow is quickly becoming a very valued part of photography for me. Scott and I find so much joy in capturing moments with our clients - that smile when he is SO excited, that raise of the eyebrow, that tender touch from a new older brother.
This is why I do photography. It's not a job, it's a chance to help others freeze time because we know it travels fast :)
We first photographed Lane as a newborn just over a year ago, and now his baby brother has come along! Scott and I can't wait to watch these two grow together as brothers - a bond that is unique and cherished.

Harper | 1 Year {Houston Infant Photographer}
Another one of The Freckled Key's newborn kiddos has turned a year! We photographed little Harper when she was still in her momma's tummy, at birth, 6 months, and now 1 year old! Watching these little babies grow up is so wonderful. Scott and I have developed relationships with these families that will hope will last for years to come, with plenty of photos along the way :)

Family Christmas Photos 2012 | {Houston Lifestyle Photographer}
This Christmas gave me the opportunity to photograph so many beautiful families. And few things bring me more joy than following a family around the lawn of their own home or in a familiar park, clicking my shutter to freeze just a glimpse of time. An expression that she always makes when she's discovered something, that squint in his eye when he is laughing so hard, that tender look she has when she cradles her grandbaby. I live for this stuff :)
Thank you to each of the families that hired The Freckled Key for your Christmas photos. May you cherish these memories as you embrace 2013!
Jumping in leaves and swaying on swings,
