Lindsey & Paul {Houston Engagement Photographer}

Lindsey and Paul. What a great pair! The word that keeps popping into my head when I think about these two is adorable. You can see it in their huge smiles that these two just adore each other! Photographing them was a breeze!

"Okay guys, I want you to sit on the steps and.... oh - perfect! Keep doing that!" My job was that easy. I love photographing real emotions and when a couple is this comfortable with each other, capturing natural interactions is not hard work :)

I went to graduate school with Lindsey and even amidst the stresses and demands of graduate school, this girl was always smiling. Always tender-hearted. When I met Paul a few weeks ago, it just made sense that these two were going to be together. Paul is every bit charming, kind, funny, and loves Lindsey - that's the important part :)

They met at their church back when it was meeting on the top floor of Fitzgerald's, the ever-popular music venue located in The Heights. We started the photo shoot there, at the very place of their first encounter - the top step of those red and black tiled stairs. It was there that Lindsey, serving as a greeter on Sunday, first spoke to Paul. And it was there that Paul says when he heard Lindsey's voice he knew she was the girl he wanted to marry.

Lindsey and Paul, I cannot WAIT for this wedding! Just one more month!!

 Did I mention they brought their puppy along??!! The PERFECT prop! This pup was a posing champ!

"Puppy" love and twirls,

Pierce {Houston Newborn Photographer}

I walked into this sweet couple's home to find little Pierce nursing under a blanket. His mother was radiant and all smiles, his dad just the same. I love coming into people's homes to photograph their babies because it creates a more comfortable environment, a place for not only taking photos but a place for conversation. A place for new friendships to begin :) It wasn't 10 minutes into our conversation that we learned how many connections we had! It turns out that Dad is best friends with the older brother of one of my dear friends from high school. We are all alumni from the same university, and Mom so happens to know one of my college roommates! Small, small world.

Pierce is one handsome little dude, and I look forward to the next time my lens will lay its "eye" on him!

It's a small world after all,

HK
