Amber | Houston Bridal Photographer

I am so thrilled to post these bridals of the beautiful Amber! Scott and I had the immense pleasure of photographing she and Drew's wedding last weekend, so I am safe to post these photos ;)

Amber wanted to do her bridals in The Heights area of Houston. I LOVE The Heights. I don't think I have come across a soul who doesn't love The Heights! It's charming, eclectic, whimsical, and fun! And such a great place to do a unique bridal session. The pairing of urban-eclectic meeting elegant-chic  was amazing to capture! Thanks, Amber, for OWNING this shoot! You are stunning!! And I hope you are embracing every moment of roaming the green hills of Ireland - so jealous! :)

A big thanks to the folks at Onion Creek Cafe, Vinal Edge Records, and Boomtown Coffee for allowing us to invade your space for this bridal shoot!

Peachy roses and record stores,

Hayley | Houston Bridal Photographer

Friends, I have been eagerly waiting to post these bridals of the sweet and beautiful Hayley. I had a blast photographing her engagement photos with her now husband(!!), Garman, almost a year ago, and we went out for this stunning bridal shoot this past July. Hayley and Garman were married at the end of September, so I am now safe to post these images from a wonderful bridal portrait session!

Hayley chose the beautiful Rice University campus to take her bridal portraits in memory of her grandfather, who was a Rice University graduate. Hayley's mother brought the Rice University ring worn by her father and a strand of pearls worn by her mother (both pictured above), which I was delighted to include in the shoot :)

Rice University is very interesting architecturally in that on the outskirts of campus you are confronted with grand, cathedral-style buildings, but as you weave your way into campus your eye catches on a modern-style coffee shop and bits of abstract art. I knew that this location would be the perfect setup for a high-fashion photo shoot - and Hayley delivered!

In true Houston summer fashion, the weather was scorching hot by 9:30 a.m. We were all sweating within the first 30 minutes! But no complaints from Hayley! She was such a trooper, delivering stunning poses and radiant smiles through the whole 2-hour shoot! And walked across campus in stilettos!

Hayley, thank you for an amazing photo shoot. And thank you to Hayley's sister, mom, dad, mother-in-law, and friend who provided dress fluffs, makeup touch-ups, pop-up dressing stations made from bed sheets, and encouragement throughout the shoot :) You guys rock!

White roses and stilettos,

Corrie | Bridals | 06.2012 | Houston Bridal Portrait Photographer

Could this girl be more gorgeous?! Those striking eyes and smile made a debut in her and her NOW husband's engagement photos back in February. I photographed their wedding on June 30th and am anxiously awaiting the day I will get enough photos edited to put up on the blog, because the wedding was spectacular, and SO fun!

So, in the meantime, enjoy this glimpse of Corrie in her stunning wedding gown! A friend of hers put together the beautiful, wandering bouquet that made a perfect accessory for this nature/summer inspired shoot.

Lovin' that bouquet! Mm!
So elegant.

Tromping through tall grass,

Jenna | Bridal Portraits | Houston Wedding Photographer

I am so thrilled to finally post these photographs of this stunning bride!

I photographed her marriage to her US Navy sweetheart, Scott, last weekend in Belton, TX, and had a blast :)

Jenna, your eyes are killer, girl!

My favorite part of the shoot, by far, was photographing Jenna on top of that hay bale! We had a trip getting her up there (hay bales are WAY taller than they look from the highway!), but she was a trooper and I am IN LOVE with the results!

Jenna, you were a stunning bride that day and even more so on your wedding day :)

Blue eyes and hay bales,
