Living Water International Gala 2012 | Houston Event Photographer

Scott and I had the immense honor and pleasure of photographing the Living Water International Gala this year at the Hilton Americas hotel in downtown Houston. Wow, what an experience!!

Living Water International is a non-profit organization that is very dear to our church community, and our pastor serves as one of the chair members for Living Water International. It is an organization dedicated to providing clean water to villages across the globe, as well as hiring natives from the villages to serve as persons who ensure that the wells are taken care of and that repairs are made when needed so that clean water will be accessible indefinitely to these communities.

The gala was overwhelmingly awe-inspiring. The creative team at Living Water International worked their tails off to ensure that every detail of the gala engaged all of your senses - from the visual impact of the performances, the physical impact of carrying water jugs, the olfactory impact of the spices and amazing food, the auditory impact of the sound recordings taken from the villages in which these wells currently reside, and the taste impact of the culturally-inspired cuisine. Mark Retzloff heads up the creative team for Living Water International, whom I have to thank for hiring us to photograph such a stellar event :)

If any of you are looking for a charity to donate to as an individual, a family, a church community, or a business, Living Water International is well worth your dollars. They are a committed group of people doing an amazing work for the Kingdom :)

Me, excited to be there!!

Scott, doing an amazing job as my co-photographer!

Vibrant colors and living water,

HK
