Dragonettis {Houston Wedding Photographer}

When Jill contacted me about photographing her family's special event, I was just plain excited! This was no ordinary wedding ceremony. Her parents were renewing their wedding vows on the day of their 50th wedding anniversary, but it didn't stop there. Jill and her husband were also going to renew their wedding vows that day, and Jill's sister was getting married! What a big day!!

 The ceremony was simple, but beautiful and sweet :) There were smiles all around, and the little ones crowded the dance floor. Friends and family gathered around dinner tables to enjoy laughter, wine, and great food.  Red, green, and gold shimmered and glittered throughout the venue, and a grand oak tree coated in twinkle lights dominated the front lawn. Scott and I were honored to capture such an amazing day in the lives of the Dragonetti family :) Enjoy these little glimpses from the evening.

To 50 more years and feet that will keep dancing,

Jackson | Houston Infant Photographer

These babies grow up so fast! Six months ago I photographed Jackson as he turned six-months old. He didn't have those little teeth in yet, but his eyes were just as big and blue! And now as he approaches toddlerhood Jackson is equally as sweet, and those cheeks are just as kissable :)

And photographing infants at Christmas time? I could definitely get used to this. Is there anything more precious than a chubby-cheeked baby dressed in big sweaters holding a sparkling globe? I think not :)

Christmas sweaters and tiny toes,

Mason | Houston Newborn Photographer

Here he is! Sweet little Mason has arrived! I'm always amazed at how quickly the time goes between a maternity and a newborn photo shoot. It seems like just a few days go by and the baby is here :)

Mason was awake for the majority of the session but he was perfectly content, giving me plenty of opportunities to photograph those pretty blues :) When he did begin to fuss (which was rare) his parents would commence, in perfect unison, singing "Jesus Loves Me". It was so beautiful to witness.

Mason, you are one lucky little dude :) Your parents love you to the Moon and back, and I know they will raise you to love Jesus even more.

Tiny hats and quiet melodies,

Melissa + Payton {Houston Couples Photographer}

This amazing couple made their first debut on my photography blog in August 2011, just before I photographed my first paying client. I had a Canon Rebel T3i, a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, and I had just learned how to shoot my camera in Manual mode. They were my guinea pigs before I leaped into this business head first, and I am so grateful to them for volunteering their time to my experiments (you can see the post *here* - please don't judge my photography at that point in time... I was still learning) :)

Melissa and I have been dear friends for oh.... 7 years now! Holy cow. Has it really been 7 years since my Freshman year in college?? Yikes. She married her kind, understanding, and sweet husband, Payton, in December of 2010 and I have been just itching to take some bridal portraits for Melissa ever since as she was unable to have portraits taken on her wedding day.

Well, two years later, she finally took me up on my offer :) Happy 2 year anniversary, you two. I love you both dearly, and I hope that these photographs serve as a reminder of your wedding day and the deep love that you share for each other.

Sunset kisses and flowing white,
